I have stayed in many apartments in different countries through the years, and Henrique is by far the most accommodating host with the best apartment I have ever stayed in. We were given clear directions, with photos, in advance, but Henrique was able to meet us there and show us all the features of the apartment. He followed up with suggestions of restaurants based on our preferences, including places to eat in Lagos when we left Lisboa to stay in the Algarve. The bedrooms were big, have great beds and lots of convenient storage. Having two full, modern bathrooms made our stay very comfortable. The location was ideal- we Ubered to sites around the city in the morning and walked DOWN the hills to come back. Coffee shops, a market and a variety of places to eat were just steps away. We hated to leave this superb apartment!

We are Nest-at-Lisbon ! Well, we're actually Henrique and Pedro, two brothers born and raised in Lisbon back in the 80's. We love this wonderful city so much that we decided to quit our old jobs, and follow our childhood dream, which was to build up our own business and help out visitors to have a wonderful experience in this magnificent city we were lucky enough to be born in. As such, back in 2017, we decided to create our company Outstanding Nests and our brand Nest-at-Lisbon, which offers top-shelf accommodations in prime locations. We started step-by-step, but we’re now managing a total of 15+ apartments, and we’ve hosted 10k+ Guests and 2k+ stays – and hearing the feedback from our amazing Guests couldn’t make us prouder. Step onto the balcony of this fifth-floor apartment and marvel at the panoramic views across the rooftops of Lisbon. The home has a striking vaulted ceiling and boasts a clean white palette that is interspersed with vibrant blue motifs. The apartment is located in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Lisbon, on the border between Cais do Sodre and Chiado. The Time Out Market, Pink Street, and Lisbon's riverfront are on the doorstep, with many cafes and restaurants close by.

Neighborhood info

Sodré is the name of a 15th-century family with businesses in this neighborhood which has always been linked to the maritime trade. Over time, the entire area from the waterfront to the two blocks north of it became known as "Cais do Sodré." The "Wharf of Sodré" is a terminal of the ferries that link Lisbon to Cacilhas and Almada across the river, and is also a train and subway station as well as a major bus stop. Across the station is Praça Duque da Terceira, a square named after the Duke of Terceira whose bronze statue stands at the center. To the west of the square is a huge dome under which stands the city's main food market, Mercado da Ribeira, and next to it is another square, Praça Dom Luis. It's filled with palms and other trees, and is overlooked by a 19th-century statue of the Marquis of Sá da Bandeira. Rua Nova do Carvalho behind the market was known for decades as the city's "red light district," with bars named after northern European capitals to attract their sailors who stepped off the boats nearby. It's now a seedy-chic street lined with hip bars and clubs, quite popular at night.
