Really nice common areas, lots of areas to work from if required, including outside areas. good facilities. Rooms were fine (nice views from the higher ones). The breakfast was free at the time (I think it's not normally?) and the usual stuff but pretty good side of that and well stocked. Location is pretty good too, reasonable amount of going uphill from the central square but much less than it could be. Just about small enough place that you could talk to people in the common room etc. clean, good showers.

Loved the staff! Bruno was a sweetie! The breakfast is just toast and cereal (with coffee and juices) but i found it tasty and a perfect size for a morning meal. They make the best Caipirinha for only €4!! Really pretty eatery area and garden area with tables and chairs. It was very easy to meet people here (I was traveling alone and met three girls who invited me to the beach with them for a whole day!). I loved the all-female room option - it made my stay more comfortable as a teen girl traveling alone.

Located in the heart of Lisbon, just 650 feet from Central do Rossio Train Station and Restauradores Metro, this stylish hostel offers a choice of dormitory beds and private rooms.

Safestay Lisbon Bairro Alto is an 18th century building which has been renovated, and decorated by young Portuguese artists. It has a large roof terrace, and a courtyard and garden where guests can dine together. A buffet breakfast is served each morning.

Some rooms have polished wooden floors and original fireplaces. Free WiFi is available throughout the hostel.

Located at the boundary of Bairro Alto, the Safestay Lisbon Bairro Alto provides spectacular views over Avenida da Liberdade, the Baixa and the Tagus River.
