Perfect view, so nice and clean cottage made with love. Very relaxing atmosphere. Wonderfull and breathtaking nature around at this very special place in the countryside. Very nice and helpful hosts. The breakfast was delicious and it was another highlight to have it at the terrace of the cottage with the great view. Walks around are amazing with the start directly from the cottage. In the village in 10mins walking distance there is a mini marked. People around are also very friendly. At this place you will definitely start to relax and calm down and enjoy the vacation

It's a tastefully furnished, clean and well maintained cottage in the green with a beautiful view of the sea (and good wifi connection). The family Staal are exceptionally friendly and attentive hosts who made us feel very comfortable. Last but not least, the breakfast, served by the family Staal in the cottage, is delicious. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay!

Das niedliche kleine Häuschen. Man kann schön drausen sitzen und das leckere Frühstück geniesen und sieht das Meer. Sehr netter Besitzer der unsere Fragen beantwortet hat und uns jeden morgen das leckere Frühstück gebracht hat. Auch wurde jeden Tag unser Bett gemacht und unser Geschirr vom Frühstück abgespült und wieder gebracht.

Das Bett ist gemütlich und alles ist sehr sauber. Familie Staal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich! Jeden Morgen wird ein tolles Frühstück zur gewünschten Uhrzeit auf die Terrasse gebracht. A PERFECT STAY The deep blue Atlantic ocean, nature’s diversity, whale watching, beautiful walking trails, Horta’s city life, the sandy beaches of Porto Pim or a dive in a natural pool... Hidden away, by a farmer’s road, Faial Cottage is the perfect place for exploring Faial. Enjoy amazing ocean views right from your terrace as you start your day with our breakfast, served every morning. And in the evening, upon your return, we can offer you a dinner service, on request.
We are a Dutch family - a music composer/producer (artistname Nimanty) and a former management assistant, with our beautiful twin daughters - who decided it was time for a change...something completely different. After a long quest we found this beautiful island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2018 we took the step, moved to Faial, and bought a house, abandoned for almost 20 years. An opportunity for sure, so we started our new adventure to build on a new home...and a B&B. And so we welcome you to visit Faial and stay with us.
From the B&B you enjoy views on Sao Jorge Island, you can see the the peak of the impressive Pico Mountain and with bright weather you even see Graciosa Island, all from the B&B. Faial offers a relaxed atmosphere, a mild climate, great and long summers, varied and impressive nature, and last but not least, totally fresh air. With our B&B we can now welcome you on the island and show you the beauty we experience here daily.
