View of river was beautiful, rooms are cozy, very convenient and short drive into nearby town. Very nice beaches around too.

PortugalSituated a little outside of Vila Nova de Milfontes the Herdade do Freixial is a great place to relax. The town can be reached by car in about 5 minutes and offers lots of great restaurants. Very good breakfast and pool with a view.

New ZealandThe breakfast with the wonderful view is a pure joy! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms with a private fully equipped kitchen and terrace with BBQ are a big plus! Would recommend to everyone! The beautiful little town of Vila Nova is nearby with a lot of restaurants. You can also start beautiful walks along the coast from the town.

One of our best sellers in Vila Nova de Milfontes! This secluded eco-lodge in the Alentejo region features an infinity pool with River Mira views. An infrared mosaic sauna and therapeutic massages are the highlights of its wellness center.
Rustic styles blend with the latest technology in Herdade Do Freixial’s rooms and apartments. Wooden floors and white stucco walls are combined with flat-screen TVs, blue-ray DVD players and free Wi-Fi.
An extensive buffet breakfast is served each morning in Do Freixial's dining room, which also offers panoramic views of the river valley underneath. In the summer months, light meals are available in the afternoon.
The spa area includes Turkish baths and an outdoor hot tub. Several activities, including yoga classes and quad rides, can be organized upon request. Guests can also rent DVDs at the reception.
The hotel is set within the South West Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, about 1.2 mi from Vila Nova de Milfontes and its Atlantic beaches. Free parking is provided on site.

We like the authenticity in the nature, the tranquility, one familiar ambiance and creativity. We regularly organize exhibitions of painting, photography, jewelery, illustration, among others ... We offer retreats with some regularity of yoga, singing workshops, meditation,... We also organize birthday parties, weddings and other events.

Because we love to receive well, now we have something new for our guests and for all who wish to visit us ... During winter time, at weekends, previously booked, we serve a delicious homemade brunch! Come savor it and enjoy yourself with our view of the Mira River!

The property is in the countryside, on the border of the river Mira and close to Vila Nova de Milfontes and the magnificent beaches of Southwest Alentejo. Here you can enjoy authentic walks by the sea or in the countryside, the incredible view of the ocean and the cliffs, with signposted paths, you can do birdwatching, visit and taste the homemade chocolates of the chocolate house and the atelier of contemporary weaving in Odemira.
