A Gem of a Guesthouse My husband and I immensely enjoyed our 3-night stay at this gem of a guesthouse. The hosts, Marek and his lovely wife Isabel, were warm and welcoming. They are meticulous and pay great attention to detail. They even helped eliminate the hassle of figuring out where to dine and also provided useful tips for sightseeing, etc. While this guesthouse did not have all the amenities as the posh hotel in Lisbon where we later stayed, it surpassed our expectations and we ultimately ended up preferring our laidback stay in Lagos, especially due to the charming guesthouse and hosts. The views from the rooftop terrace were breathtaking! Marek and Isabelle made our stay so enjoyable and we cannot wait to return!

Marek was full of useful information and his wife was very nice. I was commenting to another couple about how great his information was when they commented that they thought he was a bit arrogant. I have always said it's a fine line between pride and arrogance and it appears at least he may have crossed it in their view. The location was perfect being just off the Town square with a rooftop balcony that gives you an amazing view. Being at the southern end of town it is a bit easier to walk to the magnificent cliffs to the south. I stayed here for four nights and found Lagos to be a great town. From here I did the seven hanging valley's hike as well as the coastal walk from l u z. I had the small single room which did have a view out to the beach.

A great place to stay in Lagos. The owner was a great guy, very helpful with restaurant recommendations, etc. There were many conveniences, like a communal kitchen to store your food. The location could not be better, right in the center of things with an easy parking garage very close by.

The location, my quaint room with a view as well as the gorgeous rooftop. I spent delicious moments up there, enjoying sunrise, coffee and sunsets. Hosts are also very personable and encourage a family like atmosphere if you choose.

Perfect location close to historic town, beaches, train station, marina. Rooftop is amazing and an added bonus! The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and give great honest recommendations! While being in the popular fun area you still have the feel of a quiet and private accommodation. Clean, comfortable, everything you need and more. If I am back in Lagos I will stay here again!

Exactly the type of guesthouse I like to stay in when traveling and getting to know a new place, with genuine hosts that will make you feel at home and laugh every morning. What makes Infante unique is that Isabel and Marek are experienced travelers and familiar with the wide spectrum of preferences unique to each guest. They make it easy with their self-service system, but that isn’t a stand-in for their hospitality. I loved the mornings and nights relaxing and people watching on the roof deck, connecting with other guests and was fully equipped to experience the best of Lagos each day thanks to Isabel and Marek :)

The property is fabulous- in a perfect Lagos location - easy access to beaches, walks, old town, sights and stores. The rooftop area offers lovely views of the town and the ocean. It also has kitchen facilities for coffee, wine and snacks. Super clean, the rooms are large and well equipped. Marek and Isabel, our hosts, shared their extensive knowledge about Lagos - the best things to do and places to go and avoid. Their suggestions made this a memorable trip for us. The Infante Guesthouse is in located in the old town of Lagos. It is central to the restaurants and a short walk to the marina. The room was exactly as shown on their website. The entire guesthouse was clean, well maintained, and had all I needed. The rooftop deck had plenty of room to cook, enjoy a glass of wine, and socialize with the other guests, all while overlooking the sea. The host spent time showing me around property as well as acclimating me to the local restaurants, the coastal beaches and walk, and the bus.

Absolutely a 10/10 stay at Marek's and Isabel's place! The location can't be any better, it's easily walkable to anywhere around the area and so many great restaurants close by! The guesthouse also has a stunning rooftop where you can enjoy beautiful views and enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. Everything is super clean and just top notch in terms of decor and comfort. There's no place else we would stay if we would return to Lagos - which hopefully we will! 😊 thank you Marek and Isabel for a wonderful stay and your hospitality!
