This bright, inviting open space plan apartment with a large terrace and view to the ocean is located in a beautiful oceanside village, only a 10 minute walk to the beach, cafes, bars, supermarkets, local fish market and excellent restaurants. This quiet condominium is immaculate with 2 pools and a lovely garden for your pleasure if you are not at the beach or walking along the endless boardwalks that line the coast, all the way to Porto. An awesome location to relax and explore the area!
I am Canadian and have lived in Portugal since 2008 with my husband and two children. I love it here, it has it all; great weather, gorgeous beaches and a beautiful ocean, an incredible culture and history, hospitable people and delicious food & wine! We too, live in Lavra (where the apartment is located) and enjoy all that this area offers; endless boardwalks and biking/walking paths, Blue Flag beaches, local fish and vegetable markets, grocery stores, funky cafés and beach bars, fresh seafood restaurants and gyms. We travel a lot and stay in apartments all the time, so for us to share ours with guests visiting the country is a pleasure. We look forward to welcoming you!
This is a very safe and friendly neighbourhood. It is a beachside town with all the amenities that you need; cafés, bars, restaurants, fish and fruit markets, grocery stores, souvenir/clothing shops, a medical centre, pharmacy, gas stations, gyms and an endless boardwalk to witness the gorgeous beaches that line the Atlantic shore. This apartment is located on a main bus route, a 50 minute scenic ride to Porto and is also serviced by taxis and Uber (20 minutes to Porto). There is a private garage for guests should they have their own vehicle and there are biking/walking paths that lead all the way to Porto and north, to other seaside villages. There is ample free parking in town.
