The hotel was wonderful, located in an area close to the center. Seemed relatively new with modern design and generally very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there and the price was very fair for what was offered!

The check-in procedure was very convenient - I've just shared information about guests online and got the room number and access codes a couple of days before check-in. We came there late and left early, didn't have any problems with it. The location is great for exploring Lisbon historic center. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, which is almost surprising considering it's size. The washer is available in the bathroom, but detergent is not provided and can be bought for 1 eur per wash. There's a couple of grocery stores nearby and a great restaurant with all-day breakfasts and brunches across the street.

Lisbon Serviced Apartments is the largest operator of short-term stay apartments in Lisbon. Launched in 2009, with then one building, it has been expanding in a fast and sustainable way offering now more than 150 apartments in the center of Lisbon, soon to reach 300 in 20 buildings after the successful implementation of the ongoing expansion plan. Since we do not own any of the buildings all our attention is focused on the management of third parties’ buildings, which gives our investors and partners an added guarantee of professionalism and independence, has is stated by our portfolio of large institutional investors as well as small investors (who only have one apartment) . All apartments are in buildings 100% allocated to the services of Lisbon Serviced Apartments, without the risk of finding the inconvenience of sharing buildings between owner occupiers and tenants. All accommodations include a daily maid service, linen and bath and the Internet without additional charge to users.

Comprising 2 modernized buildings - Avenida 1 and Avenida 2, the Avenida apartments are divided into Studios, T1 and T2, and are all equipped to provide a comfortable and functional stay. The Avenida flats are located on Rua do Telhal, just around the corner from the most luxurious avenue in the city of Lisbon - Avenida da Liberdade. Designed as a Public Promenade, similar to the boulevards of Paris, Avenida da Liberdade still has its vegetation, small fountains, monuments and al fresco dining. Along this thoroughfare - which connects Restauradores with Marquês de Pombal - we can find international luxury brand shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. Locker service to store luggage before and after your stay, in the Avenida 2 building (subject to availability).

Neighborhood info

A stay at the Avenida flats is to be in the centre of everything. The Metro system is a 2-minute walk away. If you prefer to walk, head down the Avenue and you will find Rossio Square, Baixa (downtown) and, right next to it, Chiado. If, however, you are looking for alternative activities, walk 3 minutes to Largo da Anunciada, climb the hill in the Ascensor do Lavra (the oldest funicular in the city) and head to the Jardim do Torel (Torel Garden), where you can enjoy the magnificent view from the Miradouro (the Avenida flats are very nearby!). For Jazz lovers, just cross the avenue to Praça da Alegria for the Hot Clube de Portugal - the oldest Jazz club in Europe. The night of 12th to 13th June is the biggest night of the city's celebrations, and Avenida da Liberdade closes to traffic to receive the spectacular Parade of Popular Marches - a parade in which every Lisbon district is represented.
