Perfect location, very nice, simple but great breakfast and very helpful staff.
CanadaPedro and John at the reception were wonderful - so welcoming and very helpful. The room and the common areas were beautifully decorated and clean and I am so thankful for the maid who keeps everything so clean and found my jacket I left behind for me to pick up after I checked out. The location is also amazing with a view of the national palace!

The Moon Hill Hostel is a project born about 3 years ago, in 2011. Our concept is to grant our guests with all the comfort needed to really enjoy our magical villa that is Sintra. We have a really cozy room, a kitchen you can cook and a patio to relax and read. However, while there’s any ray of sunlight left, we will advice you to get up from the couch or the chair you’re sitting on and to go visit the magnificent palaces in the region (and we have many), the castle, the parks, the beaches, all that surrounds our small villa and creates this unique environment. In the Moon Hill Hostel you can also enjoy our restaurant Caldo Entornado. So hope you’ll be looking forward to come here and visit us. We definitely are!
