The rooms were lovely and with the balcony looking out to sunrise it was the perfect place to spend you morning with some breakfast. We were really well looked after by Ana, who organised a delightful breakfast every morning.

O Lugar is a guesthouse with six suites located in the centre of the fishing village of Porto Côvo. Set near the fishing port, the property is near public transportation and within walking distance from the beaches and restaurants.
Five of the rooms have a balcony where you can enjoy the view. All rooms are en-suite, with free toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. The property is decorated in a minimalist and relaxed style, combining Scandinavian and Mediterranean inspirations.
It has a comfortable shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. There is no television in any room of the house but there are games in the lounge, promoting rest and socialisation. A continental breakfast is served each morning at the property.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip.

O Lugar é uma guesthouse com seis quartos localizada no centro da aldeia de Porto Côvo, perto do porto dos pescadores. A sua localização é perfeita, perto do transportes públicos, permitindo deslocar-se a pé para as praias, restaurantes e centro da aldeia. Cinco dos quartos possuem varanda onde se pode disfrutar da vista para a Ilha do Pessegueiro. Todos os quartos têm casa de banho privada, sendo disponibilizados produtos de higiene pessoal, secador de cabelo e toalhas. Dispõe de uma confortável sala comum e wi-fi gratuito em toda a propriedade. Não existe televisão em nenhuma divisão da casa mas dispomos de jogos na sala comum, de forma a promover o descanso e a socialização. A casa foi decorada com um estilo minimalista e descontraído combinando inspirações escandinavas e mediterrâneas.
O nome d'O Lugar foi inspirado na letra escrita por Carlos Tê e interpretada por Rui Veloso, que fala na aldeia piscatória junto ao Oceano Atlântico e na Ilha do Pessegueiro.
O Lugar situa-se na Costa Vicentina, no Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano sendo o ponto de partida de diversos trilhos pedestres da Rota Vicentina. Para os amantes de corrida e trail existem diversos trilhos com vistas deslumbrantes. Existe na área uma oferta abrangente de actividades incluindo passeios equestres, BTT e motociclismo. As praias de Porto Côvo foram consideradas pelo Huffington Post das mais belas do mundo. As praias existentes na área são perfeitas para a prática do surf, existindo ondas para todos os níveis de aprendizagem.
