IrelandEverything was fantastic! It is like stepping back in time with all the comforts and pleasures of the modern day! The family are truly wonderful and will do everything to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The house is unique - we felt very privileged to be able to stay there. You are made to feel so, so welcome - it is truly a home away from home! The breakfast is delicious - lots of home made produce, fruit, pastries, cheese and meats. The location is just across from the train station and in a beautiful part of Portugal. We caught the train to many different places. It is a very special place - if you have the opportunity, take it and stay here!
United KingdomWonderful character villa with beautiful antiques, lovely bedrooms and private bathroom both had good views over the river. Our host told us the very interesting history of the house when checking in. Large communal areas if you wish to watch movies, play billiards etc.

Susana and Andrés are really welcoming and you can tell they really like to host people and share they wonderfull Villa and all the history around It. Great location and breakfast are also additional reasons for chosing this place.
SpainThere are places that make you feel home while being away from home. This is one of those. Very unique experience in a +100 years old house. We loved everything about the Villa. Very welcoming hosts. Susana and Andres are doing an amazing job, with attention to detail. On our arrival we were given a guided tour through the house. Spacious rooms beautifully decorated. We found the beds quite comfortable. Breakfast generous and delicious. Dream view from the tower. Close to Caminha and to Foz do Minho and Arda beaches.

The rooms are lovely and the beds comfortable. Breakfast generous and delicious. Susanna and Andrea have done an incredible job restoring and maintaining the property, and are so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Located just 5 minutes’ walk from the River Beach, around various hiking trails, Palacere Villa Idalina is a 20th-century Brazilian mansion. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas.

Entrar en Villa Idalina es entrar en el pasado, descubrir como vivia una familia que hizo fortuna como emigrantes en el Brasil y que quiso deslumbrar a su regreso a Seixas con este palacete y con los mayores adelantos de 1900.
El equipo de Villa Idalina está formado por su propietario Andrés y su pareja Susana, ambos somos unos apasionados de este lugar lleno de magia y encanto. Nos encanta hacer de anfitrión y que nuestros clientes se sientan tan a gusto como en casa.
Seixas do Minho tiene una luz especial, la desembocadura del Río Minho justo delante de nuestras ventanas hace que Seixas tenga un marco incomparable. Se encuentra en una de las zonas más turísticas de Portugal, muy cerca de Caminha y playas como Moledo y Vila Praia de Ancora.
