Great location everything on your doorstep. Quiet at night, thank-you for the black out curtains. Good value for money will definitely recommend Of course we will stay there again ourselves. Loved it.

Pension Bicuar is a one-minute walk from Olhão’s waterfront and offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Algarvian mountains, the Atlantic and the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

Bicuar’s charming rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a sink and shower. Toilets are shared for most of the rooms. Guests can make free use of the common kitchen, which includes a fridge, microwave, stove and teakettle.

Guests can visit the well known picturesque fish and fruit markets and admire the unique Moorish cubic arch. The fishing village’s cobblestone streets also offer lots of traditional seafood restaurants and eateries.

    You are welcome, discount is depending on the lead time. Yes we have a guest kitchen, BBQ and freezer to prepare and cook, but we don't know due the ongoing Pandemic if it will be with restricted access. Parking near by is free.

  • Alo, how many stairs do you climb to te bedroom, kitchen and terrace? Do que have to pay for parking the car? Can se cook in the kitchen? Thank you, Lívia
    It depends on which floor you have the room as we have 3 floors with a max of 51 stairs. We don't offer parking but there is free parking in 5 min. walking distance. Normally you can cook in the kitchen, due the ongoing pandemic it might be limited.

Our Guest House is nestled within the sights and sounds of Olhão’s historic town center, just 120 meters walk to the waterfront where restaurants , cafes & shops abound within this old fishing town of cobbled stone streets, Morrish-style whitewashed square houses and typical stairs leading to the flat roof terraces. Our rooftop is the highest point in the old town of Olhao and we are lucky to have a 360 degrees breathtaking views of Ria Formosa the Atlantic ocean and the rolling mountains of east Algarve.

Olhão is surrounded by ‘ilhas’, white sand island beaches, which protect the marshy lagoon, Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa, an environmental and conservation area for birds and marine life. The two main Olhão beaches are Ilha da Culatra ('Island of Culatra') and Ilha da Armona ('Island of Armona') The Islands are served all year round with regular ferry crossings from Olhão’s jetty a short 5 minute walk from Pension Bicuar Residencial. Ilha da Culatra is the bigger of the two islands. The western end of Ilha da Culatra ,with the lighthouse, is known as Ilha do Farol. The next ilha just to the west of Farol is Ilha Deserta, a beautiful island with nothing more than a stretch of beautiful soft sand backed by vegetation and a single restaurant.
