It has an award winning Marina with excellent bars and restaurants. Definitely something for everyone. Beaches that stretch on for miles with the soft sand and the inviting sea. If you want to go further afield then go east and explore the real Portugal and its many hidden towns and villages. 20 minutes away from the historic town of ESTOI where there are roman ruins and a Royal Palace that is open to the public and boasts amazing views and spectacular gardens.
