Beautifully renovated old building in the heart of Alfama, just across from a viewpoint looking out onto the river. A blend of old world and modern design, really nicely done. The staff is superb and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful, and it's very pleasant to spend time in that space whether inside or outside (the dining area is open to the courtyard, so the two blend together). Was also nice to have a glass of wine in the evening in that courtyard space. Our room was very quiet, and it was nice to have fresh air from the door to the little balcony. A perfect stay in a wonderful city.
