The hotel is perfectly located to explore Cascais and has great connections to both Lisbon, the airport and Sintra. We arrived late in the evening and had a warm welcome at reception. The hotel is modern, spacious and very clean, pictures simply do not do it justice. Rooms and common areas were well furnished, decorated and kept immaculate at all times. Great night sleep every night, rooms are very quiet and beds very comfortable. Wide selection of foods and drinks at breakfast, where you have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating (I recommend outdoor in summer!). The outdoor swimming pool was a real gem, very quiet throughout the day and evenings so we were always able to get a lounger. Staff were friendly and made us feel well looked after. Overall, well worth a visit!

Stunning location, wonderful facilities and great staff. Highly recommend spa massage services and organised car service made going back to the airport a dream. Buffet breakfast had a great selection and views from the restaurant with a morning coffee were priceless. The walk into town is easy from this location and art galleries on site are worth a look.

With studios and galleries surrounding it, the 5-star hotel overlooks sea and the Cascais Marina, and is part of the renovated 16th century citadel complex. The centrally-located Pestana Cidadela Cascais features an indoor pool with marina views and an additional lawn-surrounded exterior swimming pool, which also has marina views.

Occasionally the hotel organizes "Art Invasions" of the rooms, in which noted artists are given "carte blanche" to decorate rooms and public areas.
