We chose this place because of the beautiful modern architecture. It did not disappoint. To the contrary, it is even more impressive than the photos. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - couldn't be better!

The place is amazing!! Nice rooms/villas with amazing involvement with the nature around. Very friendly people who made us feel like home and very good breakfast. All fresh, natural and well cooked. The pool is also cool. We didn’t use it because we went in the winter time but it seems an amazing place to relax in summer. I really recommend this place to go as a couple or as a family with kids.

The whole “quinta” was just amazing!!! We loved the traditional, but modern architecture and the hi-tech equipment in the room and the whole areal. During our stay we were the only people staying there, so it was really calm and quiet. Lady Veronica, who was taking care of us, was really lovely, willing and helpful. When I told her I have a gluten free diet, she tried her best and prepared us a delicious breakfast with homemade melone smoothie and yogurt, home-harvested cherries and delicate gluten free pancakes (plus many more). We loved it so much, that we hope we’ll come here again 😍

Host Vania was fabulous- the house itself was really well equipped for two families to stay and eat/sleep. Lots of space and the farm in front is such an added bonus. The kids loved picking a few strawberries in the mornings. The pool and seating was gorgeous also.

We stay 15 wonderful days in Quinto de Pomar Maior. The infrastructure itself is really contemporary and well-thought but most of all, absolutely beautiful. There is a lovely garden with nice relaxing places here and there and a big vegetable garden where you can eat raspberries. We really appreciated the gentleness of Bruna and Isabella, 2 beautiful smile, wonderfully attentive to our needs, lovely people who prepare the tea time perfectly ! In a word, an exceptional and rare place in Portugal, class and relaxing...

With an outdoor swimming pool and stunning greenery surrounding it, the Quinta do Pomar maior is an eco-friendly property located in Arouca. The unit was fully renovated and has a rustic exterior, along with a very modern interior.

Location is off beaten track - Arouca is a lovely village and there’s a few nice eateries but this house is for relaxation and calm and we loved it. Thanks
