The room was amazing, with a balcony and a great view of the river, and it was super modern and clean.
The breakfast was also great, in a large area overlooking the river, and a great sitting place to have the morning coffee. The staff was also super friendly and kind, making us feel welcome there.
Overall a great place to book some quiet days in Gerês.

Considering we stayed one month, it wasnt long enough. if you love unrestricted access to mountains, waterfalls, the fauna in northern Portugal. the genuine friendliness of the people, and the food, Gee Wizz , come and enjoy what they have on offer, an example of the local people, we were climbing a steep road at the foot of a mountain near Ermal, and passed by a man cutting brush, once he realised what we were attempting, he gave us armfulls of fruit from his house, Kiwis, Apples, and Oranges, Just smashing, what a lovely guy.michael - 10Scored 10

There's not much to do in the city, however there's everything you need, since restaurants to supermarkets. It is a great choice for travelers going to Gerês since is very near and accessible. The hostels are clean, calm and cheap, something you might not get in Braga, Guimarães and Vila do GerêsGabrielPortugal

It was our first time travelling with our dog within Portugal and Quinta do Bento exceeded our expectations. The room was much bigger than we expected, immaculately clean, comfy bed with extra blankets and plenty of towels etc. It also had heating/air con which was much appreciated - as we got caught in the rain while out walking! We also had dinner at the hotel, which was fantastic value given the excellent quality of the food. Absolutely recommend and we are already planning dates to come back again!JennySpain

It was very private and secluded with beautiful views surrounded by trees and birds with the garden leading down to a private beach on the lake. The house was very spacious, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The infinity swimming pool was a perfect size and just the right temperature! It was incredibly peaceful and very relaxing and a true retreat whilst only just over an hour away from Porto airport and a short drive to local shops.

Room was a full self catered apartment with kitchen/dining area/sofa then bedroom/bathroom and balcony. Plenty of parking space. Really wonderful staff, friendly, helpful and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend and would visit again.

My wife and I had a two weeks vacation in Portugal, I can say those four night we booked here were the most relaxing. Our package did include breakfast which was great, also they offer diner or lunch for 15 Euros, which is an amazing deal.
