Everything about the property is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly, food is wonderful, and the wine is incredible. Rooms were so big and spacious which was great for our family. No river views but still beautiful views of the mountains. we loved our stay here, absolutely amazing.

This place was like something out of a movie. The views were spectacular. The wine tour included was really cool even if you are not one for wine tours I highly recommend to check it out. The facilities and grounds of the hotel were absolutely stunning. The dinner with wine was so good but make sure you go super hungry because they give you a ton of food. Our air conditioning unfortunately was not working but they brought us a fan which helped and they also took care of our drinks that evening. Highly recommend we wish we could have stayed longer!

The staff were very professional, friendly, and reached out to you to ensure everything was good. Really impressed with staff from checkin to breakfast to cleaning. We stayed in the new rooms which were stunning. Comfy bed, good shower, beautiful modern design. Some people say it’s dark but I think it’s just personal preference/aesthetics. Love all the shared space like lounge and the grounds. Yes you can see the road but that’s a pretty consistent thing in the Douro Valley, especially if you want to stay at a place with quick access to surrounding areas. Road is quiet and you don’t hear road noise when the slider is closed.

Spreading along the banks of the Corgo River, Quinta do Vallado Wine Hotel is a design hotel surrounded by a vineyard. The picturesque garden contains an outdoor pool and sun terrace.

Since 2005, Quinta do Vallado can host guests in its renowned Wine Hotel. Guests are presented with the opportunity to stay at our Manor House, once belonging to Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, built in 1733 and recently refurbished. In addition, a new building was concluded in 2012. This new wing, built mainly out of slate, the predominant material in the region's soil, was designed by Arq. Francisco Vieira de Campos. As a whole, Quinta do Vallado offers 13 rooms, 5 in the Manor House and 8 in the New Wing. All rooms and suites are equipped with A/C, TV and Wi-Fi access. The estate has a stunning swimming pool and offers multiple activities such as walks, bicycle rides, boat trips, fishing sessions, picnics, cooking classes and wine tastings. We also provide free parking and transfer service, to and from the airport.
