This is a really charming apartment located steps away from the Riberia/water front, could not be better. Rosa, our host, met us upon arrival and walked us through the property and gave us some great suggestions on restaurants and sites. She was also very responsive in answering any questions we had throughout our stay, she was wonderful. The apartment was really clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. The view of the river was great, we were able to walk the entire city from this location. It is mostly up hill to many of the sites and city center but it was a nice walk. The funicular is about 50ft from the front door, that can take you up part of the way. Would highly recommend!

This property was an excellent find. The apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous with all the amenities one would need. And as a bonus it has a secluded patio in the back with a natural spring running trough it, which make for a great quiet late night spot. The apartment is located perfectly on the Douro river, with spectacular views, and walking distance to everything you might want to do. The host Rosa is a local and extremely helpful in finding the best spots and answering any questions you might have. Highly recommend.

This property has the best rating for location and cleanliness given by guests. The property can be seen in youtube in RED HOUSE BY THE RIVER. It is located in a magnificent place in front of the river Douro, where you can contemplate the lights of D. Luiz I Bridge and Vila Nova de Gaia to reflect on the Douro River. The view is stunning especially at night, when everything is lit up, it is a very peaceful place to stroll, run, fish. The apartments located on the 1st and 2nd floor on the left can enjoy the back part of the house which has a yard with a century-old spring of natural water that produces a very appreciable and relaxing sound. Extra guests or visits are not allowed without the prior authorization of the accommodation. Maximum stay of 4 nights for 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom apartment and studio apartment.

I had great pleasure in decorating the apartments, so I took advantage of pieces in them to maintain the moth and the character but to make them look beautiful, cozy with charm and very functional. I love to communicate and especially to receive and share interests. I will be glad to receive you.
The place where the property is located has as main tourist attractions about 100 meters the funicular to visit the Fernandinas walls. At the same distance of 100 meters, you can see the D. Luiz I bridge which is the most charming in the city of Porto. Start the descent with one foot in Ribeira, where you can find the widest variety of restaurants and start a beautiful boat trip. Across the river, in Vila Nova de Gaia you will find the famous Port wine cellars, such as Sandeman, Ofley and Porto Calem. About 1,100 meters away you will find the São Bento railway station, the Clérigos tower, the Porto coliseum, the Lello bookstore and the Bolhão market.
