Amazing place. The owners went above and beyond to help and care for us. The country atmosphere was great for us and we loved the natural pool. Beautiful restful room and great food. Bring some carrots for the donkey. About 2kms from the village on an easy dirt road. Loved it.
New ZealandThe place is really beautiful, in the middle of nature and offers a lot to explore. You can do it by walk or bike, which you can rent directly from the place. We were welcomed by the hosts exceptionally well. They explain us a lot about the area and were very helpfull in all way. It's a perfect place if you like nature and need some peace and quite to relax. They The breakfast was excellent, with many options to choose from and to try some local homemade products. Highly recommended!

O Refúgio no Campo distingue-se por ser uma unidade de alojamento familiar e convivial. Este é um espaço em que reina a tranquilidade oferecida pelo campo, ideal para quem quer fugir ao stress das cidades. Possuímos também uma quinta pedagógica, bem como uma variado leque de atividades que permitem entreter miúdos e graúdos.
O nosso empreendimento está inserido em plena área rural, que não deixa ninguém indiferente. A cerca de 1,5km está aldeia mais próxima (Rapoula do Côa), nessa aldeia poderá encontrar serviços como padaria, café, restaurante e ainda um complexo termal, a apenas 5min de distância em carro. Nas proximidades da nossa quinta encontrará imensos locais carregados de história para visitar como Sabugal, Sortelha, Almeida, Belmonte, Vilar Maior. Para quem prefere desfrutar de todo o enquadramento natural e das belíssimas paisagens que compõem esta região, aconselhamos a visita a locais como a Nascente do Rio Côa, a Reserva Natural da Serra da Malcata, ou ainda a Serra da Estrela situada a cerca de 60km. Para os amantes de caminhadas e de BTT, podemos indicar a realização de diversos percursos com diversos níveis de dificuldade que os levará a conhecer as imediações do nosso alojamento.
