Mold in bathroom ceiliing. Bathroom old and shabby with leaking sink. Shower with stains. No shampoo and vi conditioner available. Air quality in room very low. Lack of ventilation? Far from city center even though bus 161 makes it all the way. A lot of noice from corridor and neighbor rooms.

There was a "mothball" odor coming from the bathroom that was super annoying. But the staff switched me to another room(for the following nights) that was bigger and had a view and didn't have that "mothball" smell.

Nothing, quite frankly.
The breakfast was the BEST we had in Portugal and we traveled throughout the country. It was fantastic to have a breakfast we could identify with and not flour and sugar only - pastries. Eating protein gives a person energy for the entire day whereas pastries fill a person up for an hour and then you're hungry again. Your variety of food on offer at breakfast was really good! And we thoroughly enjoyed the Italian restaurant next door. We got so tired of bread, bread and bread. I know that is the Portugese way of eating, but for people not used to it, it just piles on the calories.
