Rooms are spotless and location is great for bars, and the beautiful Jardim da Estrela park is right on the doorstep. The view from the top of the park of the bay of Lisbon is stunning. It's a quiet leafy neighbourhood and lovely for walks and the botanical gardens but a few miles and a very long walk from the city centre. Highly recommended.

You can easily walk down Avenida Liberdade and then go up to Chiado, a very touristic neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants offering Portuguese authentic food.
