The apartment was so clean and full of so many charming items. We immediately felt at home! Each room has its own character and was clearly well-designed for travelers. The apartment is very spacious and has wonderful views of Aveiro. Sandra, our host, was great to work with and greeted us as if we were lifelong friends coming home. Great location!!!

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and well-ventilated. Location was great, close to a lively square, many restaurants and bars. The apartment is at a tall building, so we had no noise and could rest very well. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time. We really enjoyed our stay here!

The apartment is a bit hard to find but it's on a very quiet street - and Sandra came right over to meet us when I said I was lost. Once inside it is lovely. It's much bigger than I thought it would be and very nicely outfitted. Sandra has a ton of ideas and recommendations for things to do. You can walk to pretty much anywhere in Aveiro and it's a short ride to Costa Nova.

Sandra was amazing as our hostess and gave really good local suggestions to have a good time there. House was clean and prepared. The sofa bed at the living room it was a bit dodgy while sitting, I was hesitant to sit confortably. There is a big wall of explaining the rules with different languages I think it's very thoughtful and helpful. Kitchen view is amazing and you can see all the salt mines.

This is an old apartment in a bit of a damp apartment but for one night in December it was a wonderful stay. The host was very helpful and welcoming, we had a parking spot in the underground garage and the location is ideal for exploring the town. The view from the kitchen is just spectacular and we would definitely recommend this place.

The Ria do Sal offers apartments with a privileged geographical situation because it is right in the center of the city but also because it offers a view over the whole city and its surroundings. See our photos and let yourself fall in love! Ria do Sal is in the charming city of Aveiro, located in the center of Portugal. Known for its canals, gastronomy and local sweets, it is not a transit point, it is a city to be discovered. Ria do Sal is a 10-minute walk from the Train Station and a 1-minute walk from the Taxi Square. The nearest airport is 80 km away.
The Ria do Sal is a 1 minute walk from much that the city of Aveiro has to offer: moliceiro tours in the Ria, handicrafts, sweets and gastronomy in addition to the main meeting point of nightlife: Praça do Peixe. It is a calm and peaceful area, with mild temperatures that invite walks and hikes around the city to discover the museums or just the existing elements of Art Nouveau.
