Lovely hotel in an old school colonial charm design. Friendly staf, spotlessly clean. Luxury breakfast included. Fine quiet location. All in all, a very nice stay and recommended.

United KingdomWhen we were at Rinoterra two years ago we described this as the best small hotel we had stayed at. Nothing has really changed, in that the (same) room was just as comfortable, Anna and Angela were just as charming and helpful, the grounds were as attractive, and the view across the Minho estuary still superb. We enjoyed our stay again, and would still highly recommend Rinoterra, but in staying for three nights we realised that this is more like an up-market guest house. There is no lounge or bar to relax in (and our bedroom had only one soft chair). The food was very good; there isn't a menu - Anna offers a choice of a meat dish or a fish dish - and since this year (as two years ago) we were the only diners each night this might be a limitation (though we did stay late in the season). There is a short but good wine list. Breakfast was more than adequate, but limited for the same reason.
