This property was gorgeous. It was comfortable and had a beautiful pool and gardens. Every unit (there were 4 total) had private outdoor space and seemed to be quite spacious (at least ours was). Parking was ample and easy and this was a great home base to basically go anywhere on the island. At the end of your long day out you can come back to some peace and quiet. (Mind you we are pretty sure we had some neighbours who never left, but we can't blame them because t is so idyllic.) If you want to go to the city, Ponta Delgada is a 15 min drive and easy to access. You will want a car to get around the island, but I think that's true no matter where you stay.

Very charming and beautiful design place. Great garden: you are surrounded by plants which give you as well quite a privacy. Breakfast was super tasty (You go out with really full stomach). Host and other employees are very lovely and helpful.

We spend an entire week at the Quinta dos Peixes Falantes and it was absolutely wonderful. The place is charming and the welcome was warm. We felt at home and everything was done to ensure our stay was unique. The house was spacious and very clean (+ well equipped, we could have cooked simple meals if we wanted too). The location is perfect, it’s central so it’s really idéal to visit the island. Don’t miss out on the breakfast !

The garden, the quiet, the architecture were all highlights. We couldn’t have had a better stay; Ana Isabel is so kind and welcoming, and the studio is so thoughtfully designed and equipped. It was perfect for two.

The space itself was a beautiful studio with huge windows that opened to a little garden. It had a small kitchenette that was fully equipped for meal prep. The host was incredibly kind and had some home made jam and treats for us when we arrived. We had the breakfast in the morning which was wonderful. It consisted of fruits, pancakes, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries and more. The host was very kind, she answered all of our questions, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gave us some history of the location and the grounds. The studio itself was very clean, stylish, and quiet. I would recommend this establishment for anyone wanting stay on this side of the Sao Miguel.
