PortugalWe had such a fabulous time. Our gluten free diets were catered for and the fruits were delicious, grown in the garden. Excellent advice and a sketch of what was in the area was very helpful. Our daughter felt so at home, spending precious time with the cats and even helping water the gardens with the lovely hostess. The pool, the grounds, the rooms, the friendliness........all perfect for our stay.

AustraliaThis is a really lovely place, an old farm house with a distillery converted into a great guesthouse. The owners are so kind,friendly and most of all welcoming. Our room was ideal for ourselves and our two children (10 and 7) . The pool is clean and perfect for a swim after a day exploring the area. Ideal base for visiting Aveiro and the coastal towns. We made a 2 night stop on our way to Porto. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Off the beaten track, an authentic Portuguese village and people. You will not be disappointed.

Em Setembro e Outubro, participe na faina agrícola e ajude na destilaria, para quebrar o cansaço urbano e experimentar tarefas dos antepassados.
Angeja está localizada a meio caminho entre Aveiro e Albergaria-a-Velha (10min) e entre Coimbra e Porto (45min), tendo acesso directo às vias rápidas A1, A25 e A29. Fica a 10minutos da praia, a 1h da serra e a 2h de Espanha. Do Solar do Alambique vê-se o rio Vouga e aprecia-se toda a vasta área de vegetação própria do Baixo Vouga. A Ria de Aveiro, com as suas salinas, áreas protegidas e zonas de observação de aves, está a 15min (BioRia, Reserva Natural de S. Jacinto). Fazer caminhadas e andar de bicicleta, nos trilhos da Polis, ou nos caminhos rurais, é uma das actividades mais apreciadas por quem nos visita.
