This review is actually referring to "Torel Palace" given we were transferred to this hotel due to an issue with the booking system. The hotel was really great, amazingly located in Batalha and the room was extremely cozy and comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was also high quality. Overall recommended if you're visiting Porto.
PortugalActually, my booking was changed from this location, to their Avant Garde location because of covid. Avant Garde is hipster, contemporary, artful. Lovely cocktail lounge with hanging flowers. We got upgraded to a suite - which was spacious. Good service, friendly & helpful staff, free welcome drink, generous & well prepared breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. However, I really like old, historic, landmarks and hope that next booking at 1884 will be honored,

PolandDue to COVID our booking was moved from Torel 1884 to Torel Avantgarde. Our stay was impeccable from the beginning to the end. The hotel is beautifully designed and has a view to die for! The young staff is extremely helpful and highly engaged and make you feel very welcome. Our experience was wonderful! Highly recommended!

Very relaxed stay with delicious fresh breakfasts and we were upgraded on arrival to a room with a bath tub and terrace which was great. Perfect location for exploring the city and some fabulous restaurants and bars on its doorstep but the hotel does have a great bar and restaurant itself. Lovely lounge area at the top of the building for relaxing, reading, having a drink. We couldn’t have wished for anything more from our stay.

United KingdomThe location of the hotel is amazing! I was staying in one of the apartments in the seperate building- which lead out to the main street that has a lot of shops and cute coffee places. Recommended for brunch. 2 doors away there‘s a great wine shop as well. The apartment was great,comfortable and with a fully equipped kitchen. Important to know: the apartment key does not open the front door, be sure to memorize the code before leaving.
