I am a teacher and I live 10 minutes from this apartment.

Our accomodation is a private space with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen, a living room and a beautiful garden. It has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including parking space and a portable barbecue. Ideal for unwinding in tranquility amidst nature's beauty. There is another house in the property, completely independent from this one, each one with separated and private gardens. The only part in common is the car entrance and parking.

Funchal Center is 10 minutes by car or taxi. Madeira Shopping Centre is 5 minutes by car with 106 shops, big supermarket, restaurants, cinemas, post office. There is a bus stop just across the street. The house is in a great position: near Funchal and near all access roads to the rest of the island. 15 minutes by car from Barreirinha Beach Complex, where you can access the sea, lay on sunloungers, use the changing rooms and the water is crystal clear. It is located in Old Town near the famous Lavradores Market. Other beaches as Clube de Turismo, Ponta Gorda Beach are 10 minutes by car. Madeira has mostly pebble beaches, with the exception of some black sand beaches and a couple of golden sand beaches (Calheta and Machico Beach) which you can access by car in 30 minutes. Palheiro Golf is in 15 minutes and Santo da Serra Golf in 30 minutes, by car. You might like to take a ship day trip to Porto Santo Island and try out the new golf course. Funchal airport is 24km from the house (20-25 minutes). At the airport, you can rent a car or grab a taxi (more or less 30). In the sorroundings, just 5 minutes away, there is a bakery, a pharmacy and supermarket Continente with car parking.
