Great breakfast with fresh fruit and juice. Hosts are lovely people and try to make you feel at home as much as possible, and the lady at breakfast was also very nice and friendly. Great location and surrounded by green trees and vegetation, makes you feel like you are in the middle of a forest when you are in the town. The rooms were great, very spacious and really big bathroom! Will definitely stay again if staying in Luso due to the quietness and natural beauty surrounding the property, as well as the property itself which is very well maintained, considering it's age.

Facilities are not modern. Hot water takes forever to flow and almost everything is rosty and old (the owner warned us about this but that doesn't justify it) The whole property is in urgent need of a refresh. Everything is very dark and cold and we didn't find any place in the whole house where one would like to hang out and read book or have a wine since there are no cozy rooms.
The hotel has some features of an old villa, which were kept quite nicely. The decoration and furniture are like falling back in a time hole. The owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is very unique, in the middle of the forest.

The swimming pool was not clean and ready for guests. We did mention this upon arrival and the host confirmed the water was clean, however, as the bottom of the pool was dirty we ended up not trying the swimming pool, which was part of the reason we had booked the property. They should definitely state on the website if the pool is open or not (or what time of the year the swimming pool is open), so as not to lead to disappointment. Even though the weather was not sunny we would have wanted to go for a swim either way. Other than that, everything else was amazing!
