Best view in Porto. Perfect location. Very nice appartment and hosts.
TurkeyThe building itself has an interesting history with some beautiful tiles and some original features, such as the doors, the floors, the walls. The apartment and its location overlooking the Douro river is fantastic! Inside, the apartment is spacious and immaculately clean. Everything we needed was already provided. Comfortable bed, fantastic view. Rita, the owner, was very hospitable and always accessible if we needed her. Upon our arrival and check-in, she offered many excellent suggestions and tips for exploring the area. She’s a great resource! She arranged a pickup for us from the airport, which worked out perfectly.
GermanyThis really was the perfect stay. The welcome from Rita could not have been warmer- it was like staying with a friend or family! The location being next to a gorgeous lookout made it easy to find your way back after exploring. The loft was even better than pictured.. and so clean you wonder if anyone has stayed there before you! There was thoughtfulness behind every decision made- outlets right where you wanted them, mirrors where you wanted them, even a towel warmer in the bathroom. Luxury! The welcome and goodbye goodies just pushed it over the top! I won’t even browse for other places to stay next time I’m in Porto- not sure better exists. Great restaurant and bakery recommendations as well :)

It is very comfortable and practical especially the kitchen. Rita also spent time with us to share the history or Porto and recommend travel tips during check-in. We felt very welcomed.

Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late at night and the owners were so accommodating, couldn’t have been more helpful! The next day, while doing the check-in, we were given comprehensive advice about things to do and places to eat which was invaluable. The apartment and service absolutely made our trip!

The original architecture of the building is preserved but the interiors have been completely updated. We were greeted by the owner who did a thorough check in. The owners have paid attention to every detail. A friend of ours rented a suite in a hotel and it was not nearly as nice. The location is ideal for touring Porto. I look forward to a return trip to Porto so I can stay in this apartment.
