The property looks better in reality. Very clean apartment, cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect accommodation for 6 people. The owner was awesome waiting for us with the umbrella in front of the house because of the heavy rain outside.

There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. Great view of the Danube. Endless possibilities of boat tours on the lake with lot to see. Beautiful park in the town center. Beautiful monasteries near by (St. Anna and Vodite). Short ride away from Drobeta Turnu Severin on one side and Baile Herculane on the other with a lot more amazing places to see. The city is very well placed around Danube River, mountains and 30 km away from thermal baths in Herculane. You can enjoy the city in all seasons. Can get a walk around the Danube or klimb the hills around. Can get on top of the hill/mountain and have a spectacular view of the Danube both on Romanian and Serbian sides. It is close to go to thermal baths in Herculane, just 3 kms away. It is great for water sports or just enjoying a boat/ship cruise along the Danube. Can also serve fresh fish in the local restaurants.

Very modern place, fully equipped, bathroom 10/10. It was during a heatwave we were travelling and the air con was the best thing ! We couldn't be more grateful for that. Cute neighbors seating on the bench downstairs were so nice and helpful. Beautiful view of the Danube, close to all major supermarkets. Really we can highly recommend it!

Friendly staff had no problem that we arrived after the agreed check in time, secure parking and great views. Although we had no breakfast we were offered good coffee and a jar of homemade fig jam. Exceptional value for money. We are considering spending some holiday days there next time!
