Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway...
Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway easily. There's a lake you can visit but come prepared to meet mosquitos in the evening and bring a repellent product to protect yourself. It's easy to visit, I ate at Country Spa and have previously dined at Casa Vlasia as well - bit pricy but food is OK. I recommend it for couples, I visited the place with my husband for our wedding anniversary 3 times.

There are plenty to know about this lake history and...
There are plenty to know about this lake history and geological origins. There are amenities for Kayaking and boat driving school and a lot of places to visit by the water. The restaurants secluded in the forest, the former communist palace and private pontoons and taverns known by few locals or a few newly enriched people many from former communist era ... Fishing in this lake was in the past at around a 27kg a capture as I saw in past years.

I spent an weekend organizing also my wedding party and was just perfect.Very nice staff, nice garden and rooms, everything in harmony with nature...Good food and coffee and also great spa services.I strong;y recommend it as it is very close to Bucharest ...an oasis just 30 minutes driving you shouldn't miss.

They have their special Country cow cheese mixed with various vegetables -- I gather this is their own food product, since I've seen cows around the property (the farm is separated from the hotel area, of course). There are two pools, which may help if noisy people gather around one of them. The rooms are spacious and cozy.Brindusa P.Romania

Our room was very cozy and felt like home away from home. It was clean, spacious and with a beautiful interior design. The restaurant has pleny of options and the food was delicious. We also tried the spa for a very realxing experience. I highly recommend it and we hope we will visit again in a warmer season.

The spa facilities were really good and they made for the perfect relaxation for our son on a busy competition day.
