Sinaia is a place to go for skiing maybe and visiting the famous Peles and Pelisor castles. Other than that, the resort is dirty, sad looking and very crowded. The air seems very polluted so you’ll not be getting that fresh mountain air you want. I would go through Sinaia again, but not to stay.

A beautiful city any time of the year.
A beautiful city any time of the year. We went during December and it was amazing, the decorations were beautiful, the city hall looks like a small castle and the trees were all with charismas lights. Beautiful place to stay and one can do a lot of stuff, visiting castles, taking long walks, plus there are plenty of places with good food.

Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends.
Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends. Plenty of local cuisine restaurants and huge number of places to stay at a very reasonable price. The only bad thing is the traffic, expect up to 2-3 hours in standstill traffic while travelling to Sinaia.

A stunning place to visit!
A stunning place to visit! Gorgeous setting in the mountains and lots to see while you're there. We loved Peles and Pelisor castles and their fairytale setting. Our accommodation Casa Larisa was incredible and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Forest Restaurant. Cofetaria Palace in the park makes a tasty smoothie and tempting ice cream and cafe treats. Loved it in the summer and imagine its beuatiful in winter too!

Charming town with fresh and tasty air, many cafe and opportunity for good shopping.
We ate in restaurants in hotel Sinaia: one inside, one - outside. Both were very good.
The views are amazing, the architecture is fantastic: every house is like a small castle.
The park is so beautiful. You just want to stay there for hours.

Sinaia looks great these days - the pavement, the buildings in the old centre, all the infrastructure, in general, have been reconditioned, renewed. It has a beautiful park, good restaurants, interesting places to visit, like Peleș Castle etc. You can go hiking on the trails surrounding the resort, you can take the cable cabin up the mountains if you're not that young anymore. The view upthere is breathtaking. Everything about Sinaia is just wonderful and I always revisit it with great pleasure.
Very nice place in a beautiful town of Sinaia. The hotel actually is a 100+ years old building, built by a chech architecture, close friend of Carol I, the king of Romania. The staff is really polite. Check in is till 20:00, we came later, but the staff called to us and together we found a solution how to check in at midnight. Breakfast is good. And once again - the hotel is really cool designed, you will be able to feel all the authentic and old atmosphere of romanian architecture from the beginning of XX century.
The pension and its Hungarian speciality restaurant are in a lovely older building perched like a hunting lodge above the town. Sinaia is a pretty and touristic, set on steep slopes up from the train station. We definitely needed a taxi up and down with luggage but the walk uphill from the hotel to the famous royal castles was nearby, steep but manageable and had great views. The food in the restaurant was really delicious. Our room was small but comfortable.
Room was huge, balcony overlooking quiet garden and the mountains. A feast for the eyes in the morning.
"Luxury rooms International Sinaia" translates into Romanian as "Pensiunea Micșunica", just so you don't have any surprises when you enter the address into your favorite navigation software and the displayed name is different.
Parking is in the courtyard but through a narrow nice looking wooden gate.
Spacious apartment with a great view. Sinaia looks even better from above.
It's very close to the International Hotel and the city center.
Spotless and well equipped, with two couches and a double bed. You can find all ustensils that you need in the kitchen, including a toaster and a microwave oven.
The building is recently renovated, with a modern elevator. The neighbours were very quiet.
Very bad reception! I was there the weekend before and not this weekend!! Booking made a mistake!! I was told when we left the weekend before, they cancelled and everything is fine!! This was no correct! I wrote this twice to bookings, but no reply came back. In the future i will make my reservations direct w
It’s the hotels . Thank you for no service!
The rooms at this property are probably one of the best you could choose to stay in Sinaia. It is very beautifully arranged, with lots of details that for sure would make you wanna stay there a bit longer.
The location is also superb, very close the park and restaurants, very close to the alley leading to the castle.
The hotel looked stylish. Good breakfast selection. Lamas are adding mood to the place, though i felt sorry for them, very small territory for them yo walk. The hotel is 5 min by car from the city center. No pedestrian walk, only car ride there. We couldn't order Uber, no cars. In the center, multiple paid parkings.
We liked the location, you can exit from the hotel directly in central park of Sinaia, very close to train station and center of Sinaia.
The room height was impressive, very high ceiling, big height which left the impression of large space.
We stayed for only 1 night and for our case it was just what we needed.
The location is absolutely gorgeous and exceptional. It is situated at the beginning of the mountain level. You have the amazing views of the mountains & we were very luck to get some snow showers and had the great experience to visit some restaurants (typically Romanian dishes) down in the city of Sinaia.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of options for every taste. Restaurant has a superb view upon Sinaia.
We asked for a twin room. Instead we've got a double, with balcony. The room is spacious and nicely furnished.
We haven't used the spa but we welcomed the free parking offered by the hotel.
The staff were all very helpful and did a great job. The food at the in hotel restaurant was great although a little limited for breakfast options. The views were perfect and it was serenely quiet and made it very easy to enjoy the nature and beauty around you.
The price paid about 300€ is far away above the level of confort and service expected for similar place in Romania. The room furniture is basic and the bathroom quite old style. The restaurant was also very disappointed. Hotel is a bit far from the city (2km).
Perfect place to explore Sinaia - the town and the mountain with useful tips from the hosts. My room was very comfortable - especially king size bed and big clean bathroom. It’s about 15 minutes from train station - with good restaurants nearby.
It was very clean, everyday they changed the used towels and replaced used toiletries, the food from the restaurant was good, the breakfasts was various and very good, the hotel is placed near a lot of montain trails.
The property is just beautiful, nestled in a lovely setting, and service was wonderful. We really enjoyed Alex Restaurant, recommended by our host, and the breakfast at the hotel was hearty and good.
Very nice renovation in SPA and restaurant areas. This hotel is my first choice of stay in Sinaia due to location, good restaurants, good breakfast and now with the SPA area renovated, even more.
Staff very friendly and polite. Clean room and hotel.
Options for breakfast at a near restaurant with 10% discount for lunch/dinner also but we did not got the chance to try it.
