Mokra Gora je pogranično mesto u jugozapadnoj Srbiji, nedaleko od granice sa Republikom Srpskom. Nalazi se na magistralnom putu Beograd-Sarajevo. Od Beograda je udaljena 240 km, a od Užica 45 km. Smeštena je u dolini između tri planinske lepotice: Zlatibora, Tare i Šargana. Između planinskih obronaka i rečnih dolina legla je lepota koju je podario Bog. Sve ostalo stvorili su ljudi nadahnuti tom lepotom. Posebnu retkost i obeležje ovog kraja čine mnogobrojni izvori bistre planinske vode, koja je stekla priznanja i zbog svojih lekovitih svojstava. Raznovrsna flora i fauna sve više privlače ljubitelje i poštovaoce netaknute prirode, a živopisan kulturno-istorijski sadržaj svedoči o burnoj istoriji ovog kraja na vekovnoj granici između istoka i zapada.
