Myrie's Homestay
Myrie's Homestay offers visitors accommodation in a casual homely atmosphere with spacious living areas. The house is surrounded by tropical gardens in suburban Dunde Village. There is an outdoor local kitchen for guest use. The property is powered by electricity and has its own water supply. Shops, local markets, restaurants, bank, airline terminal and government offices are an easy 10 minutes stroll along the picturesque coastal road which looks out over the Roviana Lagoon.
We provide comfortable accommodation including use of the common kitchen, dining, and living areas. The elevated property is cooled by sea breezes.
Local tours are available through Dive Munda and Go West Tours based in Agnes Lodge. Local produce markets are located at the Government wharf just an easy 10 minutes walk. A bigger market capacity happens every Fridays, termed locally as "Munda Day". As well as self catering, our guests enjoy meals at Agnes Gateaway Hotel Restaurant. A 10 mins walk from the accommodation and is located main Munda regional station, close to the Munda Airport vicinity.
