Villas Cousine Island Seychelles
Cousine island , Seychelles, Cousine, Seychelles –
In the Azure waters of the Indian Ocean there is an island like no other. Where nature thrives and man is just a silent observer. Just below the equator and 1000 miles east of Africa, Cousine Island is one of the most untouched granitic islands of the Seychelles archipelago and it is also recognized internationally as one of the most ecologically important private islands on earth. To ensure the highest levels of privacy and that human impact is kept to a minimum, Cousine Island has four elegantly designed French colonial Luxury Villas and one Presidential Villa nestled in the lush endemic vegetation, within a few meters from the beach. Each villa has been uniquely furnished with individually handcrafted furniture to ensure your utmost comfort, All Villas are in full view of the ocean and overlook Cousine Island's powder white beach offering a front and rear veranda and each with it own private swimming pool and outside showers.
Cousine Island is unique amongst the islands in the region as conservation is at the heart of our philosophy. We strive to ensure that human impact is kept to a minimum and believe that sustainable ecotourism should involve direct and tangible benefits to the environment. Guests are encouraged to participate in the conservation work on the island, from tree planting indigenous trees from our nursery, to assisting the island conservation managers monitor critically endangered marine turtles and birds. Our conservation team will take you on a magnificent journey though the island, giving you a rare experience that will leave behind eternal treasured memories. Guests always leave Cousine Island with a deeper knowledge of the environment and a sense of belonging to Mother Nature. Even if you choose not to get involved directly, you still support the conservation and restoration programs by simply visiting our tropical paradise.
Guests can enjoy the following complimentary activities: Paddle boarding, kayaking, bird watching, guided nature walks, tree planting, coral reef exploration, Creole cooking lessons, turtle tracking, emergences and hatchling release experience, shore fishing and snorkeling near Cousine Island.
