very nice view right outside the building, and quaint inner

unique property, good value, view from rooms, even having shared bath was fine because they are single bathroom/WC right outside your door and there are enough of them that you have almost guaranteed privacy. There is a fridge and kitchenette in the common room. You can walk to/from Viking line ferry BUT don’t make the mistake I did when arriving. Do not follow the signs for Gamla Stan and town center. Instead cross the main road immediately and walk uphill from the terminal. The hotel is perched on the cliff. There are no stairs or access points other than right there by the ferry, and not again until the bridge.

As As many other reviewers mention, the breakfast was excellent and it was so nice to sit outside and join it. The room was large and always clean. A short walk from the hotel, you had a marvellous view over Stockholm. And there is a lot of history connected to the Ersta diakoni, the Ersta hospital is next door and also a beautiful church.
