We are a group of people (Collective) with different skills living at the property, taking care of the place and make the place available to people/groups who play a vital role in today's world. We live in a family environment and run the place according to 3 guideline words- Solidarity, Self-reliance and Resource Preservation. Kursgården Lindsberg has been an importan part ot the Swedish environmental movement ever since the 70-80th. Being a meeting place for climate activist, artist, musician, cultivating enthusiasts. Our ambition is that all guest at Lindsberg should feel welcome and at home. We work all the time to improve the property and raise the standard and comfort. A warm welcome to everyone!

Lindsbergs course center and youth hostel is a charming big stone house built 1905. Situated 8 km north of Falun, surrounded with nature. A stay here is a perfect get away or a start ground for adventure in beautiful Dalarna. Whether you want to stroll in the nearby forest or by the shore of Varpan, visit the world heritage at the old mine in Falun, or visit the museum home of the famous painter Carl Larsson in Sundborn, enjoy the space to work on a creative project or just simply relax, Lindsberg is the place to stay at. During winter there are really good possibilities to go skiing either downhill at Bjursås ski center or at Romme Alpin or cross country at Lugnet Skicenter. If you book well in advance, it might be possible to order breakfast or dinner. Don’t forget to inform us of any allergies. The food served is vegetarian or vegan.
