It’s like a museum with lots of original artefacts and paintings (amazing). You can open the window.

The Lord Nelson was closed so they put us in one of their apartments. We were advised in advance and agreed. The apartment was very, very close to the Lady Hamilton hotel where we had breakfast daily. Breakfast was GREAT! The location was great! We used the washer and airdried some clothes. It was clean etc...The children had to sleep on fold away style beds. They said they were not comfortable. The adult beds were fine. I would stay again.

I made the reservation in February at Lord Nelson. Some weeks later I received notice it had been transferred to Victory Hotel because Lord Nelson had not reopened. I was initially disappointed as I had several very lovely emails with Amanda about the original booking. However, once at Victory there was no need for disappointment. Everything was superb from Hilko, Alvin and Ronja at reception to the outstanding and tasty breakfast. I have been in Stockholm a number of times so wanted to be in Gamla Stan. It was my 18 year old grandson’s first time and he was beyond thrilled. Thank you for giving us memories for a lifetime.

The fact that I booked the Lord Nelson (which is closed...) and they changed my booking to Lady Hamilton..

The nautical decorations really made this hotel a fun place to stay!

I fell in love with the Collector’s Lord Nelson Hotel. First, the location is perfect, right in the center of the action in Gamla Stan, and it’s an easy walk to the train station, metro and museums. The front desk was always attended, and everyone—and especially Cecilia—was always so kind and helpful, especially nice since i was traveling on my own. The room was small, but comfortable and cozy, and had everything I needed. The bathroom was nice, especially the shower. Everything was spotless. I didn’t buy the breakfast, but I was able to store my breakfast yogurt in the hotel’s refrigerator and coffee, tea, and apples were unlimited and free. I stayed for a week, and honestly the hotel was the best value I have run into in a big European or American city. Can’t say enough nice things about it, and definitely, I will be back.

What a beautiful place! The rooms are decorated nicely with pictures and other interesting things. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of Old Town Stockholm so there are tons of bars, shops, and restaurants around.

Wonderful location right in Gamla Stan. Easy walk to everything. The hotel is a little maritime museum with nice paintings and artifacts throughout. A very nice little library on the second floor. Anybody who likes ships and the sea will be thrilled. The rooms are laid out like little cabins. Coffee is available in the lobby at all hours. Decent breakfast. Friendly front desk people.

Perfect location in Gamla Stan, very cozy lounge/breakfast area with fika all day long, great place to hang out and work or just relax between the running about.

The location is really good. The coffee and breakfast was good. The staff was excellent!

How much is automobile parking?Unfortunately we have no car parking, as we are on a pedestrian street. Of course, if you come by car, we can recommend where to park nearby. The nearest parking is about 5 minutes walk to the hotel.Answered on February 4, 2020

My husband is claustrophobic and we must have a room with windows that open. Do all windows open and advise which room we should bookDear guest, All our rooms have windows that are possible to open. Please be aware that Lord Nelson is not suitable if you are claustrophobic. It is only 6 metres wide and the rooms are similar to cabins on a ship.Answered on February 17, 2020
