SwedenThis is for those who wants to experience a typical Swedish old style village vacation. It is nice and special. We had a great time there.
IsraelWe had a small house of 18 century, it was very clean with fridge, free water for family, big table. The hotel is providing microwave, all necessary plates, knives, forks, spoons, glasses. Beautiful view to fields and to horses, children were so happy to see cats and ponies too. The breakfasts were good: coffee/tea/juice, muesli, boiled eggs, bread/loaf, tomato/cucumber, melon, (no warm breakfasts). Large selection of tea, after I have bought two teas and they are fantastic. It is no needed to see TV, jyst you, your family and beautiful nature with horses and field. It is romantic time!

Bo på lantgård i avkopplande och naturskön 1700-tals miljö på Thorstorps Gård, ett par kilometer från medeltidsstaden Söderköping. Njut av lugnet och tystnaden och upplev hur det kunde vara att bo på en större gård för 100 år sedan. Ni bor i personligt inredda rum, med tidstypiska möbler, i mangårdsbyggnaden från 1787 och frukosten serveras i stora salen. Där dukas också upp gammaldags kafferep under sommaren, där vi bakar efter gamla recept. En inredningsbutik finns på gården med vackra fårskinn, inredning och present. I trädgården växer gammaldags trädgårdsväxter, som var vanliga på trakten fram till början av 1900-talet och även flera olika sorters äpplen och rosor. Cyklar finns för uthyrning och fina cykelvägar längs Göta Kanal och i jordbrukslandskapet. Det går också bra att promenera i våra gamla vårdade hagmarker, där det går hästar och kvigor. På gården finns även tama får och lamm, katter och uppfödning av svenska varmblodshästar (SWB).
Hos oss kan Du också få tips om byggnadsvård och odling av gamla växter. Vi har också ett 15-tal hästar på gården, mest svenska halvblod, men också en söt minishetlandsponny.
Det finns mycket att se och uppleva i närområdet. Söderköping är en charmig och välbevarad småstad, grundad redan på medeltiden. Det finns 3 medeltida kyrkor och många charmiga butiker och restauranger. Genom staden flyter Göta kanal, med ett livligt båtliv under sommaren. I St Anna skärgård, utanför Söderköping, finns fina bad, kanotuthyrning, båtturer mm. Det är också nära till populära utflyktsmål som Kolmårdens Djurpark, ca 4,5 mil, Norrköping ca 1,8 mil, Gamla Linköping ca 5 mil och Astrid Lindgrens värld i Vinmmerby, ca 12 mil.
