About this property

The luxurious 4-star Superior Bohinj Eco Hotel is an oasis of peace and comfort set in Bohinjska Bistrica, at the edge of Triglav National Park, 4 mi from Bohinj Lake and 12 mi from Bled Lake. It offers accommodations with interior decoration made of natural materials, boasting panoramic views of the Julian Alps. Free WiFi is provided. Opened in June 2009, the award-winning Bohinj Eco Hotel is the first ecological hotel in Slovenia. It offers a filling station for electric and hybrid cars. The hotel's restaurant serves Slovenian and international cuisine, as well as special vegetarian and low-calorie dishes prepared with eco-certified ingredients of local origin. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows which can be wide open, as well as hypoallergenic carpets. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with floor heating, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and slippers. Guests staying in most rooms have a free entrance to the Aquapark that spreads over 3.500 m2 and features indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and various water attractions for children. For an additional fee, they can also enjoy an exclusive wellness and spa area on the top floor of the Bohinj Eco Hotel including saunas and a pool offering panoramic views. In the winter months you can enjoy various activities, including skiing, ice skating on Bohinj Lake, winter hiking, ski-mountaineering, snowshoe hiking, winter horseback riding and much more. A storage room for ski equipment is available. Hiking, climbing and rafting opportunities, as well as adrenalin park can be found in the vicinity. Bike storage and bike rental are provided. Secured private parking is possible on site. The Savica Waterfall can be visited at a distance of 6.2 mi.
