In the heart of the Karavanke mountains, next to the main road from Ljubljana to Klagenfurt, and not far from the village lies a little family-owned camp in the immediate vicinity of the forest. In addition to the simple living in the camp, recreational outdoor activities, camping in alpine cabins, the camp evokes that nice feeling you get only when visiting the mountains.
Our offer is rounded up under the term ‘alpine camping‘ that, in addition to the simple living in the camp, recreational outdoor activities, camping in alpine cabins, offers that nice feeling you get only when visiting the mountains. Alpine camping combines: •Usage of space for tents, campers, trailers, etc. •A-frame cabin accommodation •Usage of bathroom facilities •Co-usage of kitchen •Co-usage of a children’s playground and other sports grounds (football, basketball, volleyball field) •Renting a picnic place •Possibility of a catering service
We are – so to say – half way between Upper Carniola and Carinthia. Both lands are full of charming towns, lakes, stunning mountains and other beautiful sights. Camp Podljubelj is an excellent starting point for exploration of the Karavanke mountain range since it lies in the central part of it.
