staff guy Janus was very kind. i was the only guest in this hostel (1 night stay) and he helped me with everything. Fo instance with the ways of how to get to Ljubljana, advising bus schedules ;) thanks to him I found convenient and cheap way of transfering — hitchhiking with PREVOZ app ;)) He let me check in much more earlier and check out later and kept my stuff for as many hours as I needed, while I was walking around. I was also pleasantly surprised that he organized a full buffet for me alone in the morning! Location is wonderful — in a middle of Portorož, in front of the bus stop, close to the sea. Value for money.

The hostel is a building maybe 2-300 meters max. from the beach and the main road with restaurants and bars. Also, there is a supermarket just before the beach. It was clean, tidy, well organized, with a relaxed atmosphere and kind staff. They serve beers and breakfast, i don't know about lunch or dinner, but you can also store some food and drinks in a common fridge, if i am not wrong. They accept dogs if you have one, and they have a parking lot right in front of the entrance, i paid 15 € for two days and a half, it seemed absolutely a good price to me. Recommanded if you are looking for a quite and clean place at a cheap and honest price. I would surely choose it again.

Very good choice for low budget: breakfast is su substantial, and staff gave good support. Location is amazing, in the center, where you wanna be.

It's very close to the beach and the bus station. The breakfast is basic but nice and it's very clean there! Even in the 10-people dorm. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
