The dinner was perfect with multiple courses. It involved fresh local vegetables and homemade bread. The nearby river has lovely calming sound and the area is super quiet. Huge comfy beds, welcoming staff and plenty of parking spots. Will definitely come back

Guest house with accommodation Gačnk v Logu a house with over 111 years of tradition. In a renovated guest house, only 3 km from Cerkno along the road leading to the Franja Partisan Hospital ( cultural monument of national importance) to the cerkno ski-resort, to the Bled, Bohinj... we have linked tradition with contemporaneity just for your comfort and good feeling. We are known for good cuisine and for baking the bread from the real oven on woods. We produce all the vegetables in our garden. In summer time we have lots of weddings otherwise we are motorcyclist inn. In our garden we have a big playground for children that why a lots of families visit us. So welcome in our guest house, where the Alps meet the Karst, in the midst of an agitated hilly landscape, a real littoral oasis. The refreshing shadow of the summer garden, accompanied by the gentle murmur of the Cerknica river, or the warm homeliness by baker`s oven offer you a friendly atmosphere for a quiet holiday or an active vacation all over the year.
As The innkeeper i do not have have many hobbies such as work in the inn and on the garden. But if i have time i like to ride the motorbike.
Our Guest house Gačnk v Logu is located just under the Franja Partisan Hospital- the symbol of partisan movement and its widespread and extremely well-organized medical activities, Franja Partisan Hospital represents part of the common heritage of European nations, their values and living principles. In the Cerkno region you can also see the original Kamlonarše homestead with its " black kitchen" and the house in Zakojca where the writer France Bevk lived in his Youth, when it gets warm, you will not regret going to the Divje babe Archaeological park, hidden above the Idrijca River Valley under the Šebrelje plateau. It is the home to the oldest musical instrument in the world( dating 55 000 years back). The road from our guest house leads to the ski resort for winter an summer activities ( bike park), to Natural swimming pool with thermal water Kopačnica, for hikers we have easy reachable mountains Porezen ( 1.662nmv), Blegoš ( 1.562nmv.) Only an hour from us you can swim in river Soča or sightseeing Tolmi, Kobarid, Bovec, Bohinj...
