Always visit the Zoo.
Always visit the Zoo. If you you have enough energy after the Zoo, close by the Zoo is also Botanypark or Castle. You can go to the lookout tower and see the whole Prievidza and Bojnice. While walking towards the lookout tower, you can see or visit the DinoPark. Public transport is great but you are not there to travel around by public transport. I loved it in bojnice. It just felt nice!
I loved it in bojnice. It just felt nice! I didn't want to leave. I booked this hotel as it looked very nice and was very close to the castle which interested me along. As it happened the hotel was fabulous and so was the castle. I just couldn't take it all in. There were many bars and cafes in the village and the nearest big town was a few mins by car but I didn't go outside bojnice. There were also places to walk. Very nice castle, like in fairy tales.
Very nice castle, like in fairy tales. The city is also very clean, very tidy. A lot of restaurants. We visited one of them, with their own beer. Very good ratio quality/price. Also we were travelling with dog, and it was not a problem to find a place to stay or the pet friendly restaurant.

I went to Bojnice to attend my sons friends wedding, they got married in the castle, the parts of the castle I saw were lovely. If you want to tour the castle they only do one tour a day that is in English, I enjoyed the zoo although I missed certain parts. The observation deck was also good and the view from the top is amazing. The restaurants serve lovely food at reasonable prices, Bojnice is very peaceful in the evening and also at night, if you just want to de stress, chill out and relax then I would recommend Bojnice. We had lovely weather as well. The food in the local restaurants was good and reasonably priced one of the restaurants we ate at was called the Square and I think the other one we ate ate was called Bojnicky.

beautiful place nice scenery polite people great places to eat for English people the square plus a couple of others theres a huge zoo a market place is good and the view point you can see for miles above the castle theres a train ride that will take you to the view point and there are caves and museums to keep you interested and the castle is a must.

She also mentioned possibility od heating food in the microwave oven in the staff kitchen. Grocery store Lidl is 3mins walk trom accomodation as well as bus stop both to the Castle and train\bus station in Prievidza.ĽĽubica

The hotel has everything to create a wonderful romantic atmosphere. After a tour of the castle, you can have a good time in one of the nearby restaurants, which are close to the hotel, a great many. I recommend.

Very comfy beds and pillows, loved the view from our window of the river and mountains. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Nice walking/biking path along the river behind the hotel and shops were close by. My family and I really enjoed our time there and had fun.

Kitchen with welcome water bottles in the fridge, tea and coffee. Bathroom is big and has a corner bathtub and a bidet. Beds are comfortable.
