From your plunge pool it’s a 30 meter walk to Ao Yon Beach, one of Phuket’s best year-round safe beaches with crystal clear water and a 800 m white sandy beach. A perfect base for long leisurely and relaxing days on the beach. Being the only solar powered villa in Ao Yon and having its own drinking water system makes your stay eco-friendly and sustainable. The ground floor apartment, spanning approximately 140 m², features a large, fully covered outdoor dining area adjacent to a 2x5 meter plunge pool. It’s the ideal spot for lounging during the day or enjoying a relaxed drink at sunset. Bedroom 1 opens directly onto the pool deck, providing the perfect start to your morning. Both bedrooms share a modern, spacious bathroom. The apartment is equipped for 4 persons, or 4 persons and 1 infant. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and bedroom 2 has 2 single beds that convert into 1 kingsize bed with a mattress wedge. For an infant a cot bed, potty and high chair are available on request and free of charge.

After some 20 years living in Thailand my appreciation of Thai culture and Thai people has deepened. Initially coming here as a tourist I couldn't say goodbye to this wonderful part of the world and decided to make it my permanent residence. After teaching scuba diving, exploring the waters of Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar with guests on sailing catamarans I'm convinced that my guests will experience a warm feeling of welcome in my home . Ao Yon is a small residential village in Phuket of local Thais and a few expat foreigners who have settled here for the relaxed pace of this special piece of paradise. Our property is located away from the typical tourist sites and areas, and from the party area of Patong. Just far enough from the road through the village to hear no traffic noise but close enough to have an easy walk to restaurants, convenience stores and other facilities. We ask that our guests respect the locals and refrain from loud music and parties whilst staying in our apartment. Getting from Phuket airport to Ao Yon is best done by taxi, and I am happy to book a taxi transfer if you wish. You should allow around 1 hr (traffic dependent) for the drive to Ao Yon. In Phuket taxi's are expensive, so whilst staying in Ao Yon we recommend to rent either a motorbike or car to allow you the freedom to explore this great area on your own. I'm happy to recommend a couple of rental suppliers. Alternatively we can arrange a taxi for you to drive you around to tourist attractions and fun destinations.
