We loved our stay at the Friendship Beach Resort in Rawai. Even though it is not a swimmable beach it didn't matter because the pool was great. We enjoyed the free yoga classes at the wellness center, the excellent food at the restaurant including very healthy options and delicious thai food. The vibe of the resort was relaxed and friendly. The staff was also super friendly and personable. The rooms show their age but the resort is very well kept and maintained so we were ok with the older rooms. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a small kitchen, we ended up extended our stay and moved to the seaview suite because our room was already booked. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone who wants to stay away from the very touristy western beaches.

Very nice resort, nice pool area and beautiful views on the sea. Free yoga, free paddle board rental, breakfast was very delicious and a good choices as well. Food from the menu tasty although not the cheapest. We were there a bit after the season and it was our base to work remotely for 2 weeks. It was just the right amount of people then but I can imagine this place having a lot of kids in the peak season.

Soft comfortable beds in the two bedroom suite, heaps of space, large fridge, Saltwater pool, heaps of trees and tropical gardens surrounding the resort main area has a great tropical feeling overlooking the ocean, umbrellas with lounge pool chairs, well stocked bar, friendly staff, relaxing quiet location, beautiful fresh food at reasonable resort rates, cold air-conditioning in bedrooms, fans in living and outdoor kabanas plus sea breeze.

Great hotel, it's looks much better on life than on photo. Great pool, nice beach. Deluxe room is big and have separate toilet and shower with plant and without roof. Great SPA, very clean, great massage in good price. Near hotel are a few place to buy a fruits, some pizza, some thai food, pharmacy, a short distant walk is 7/11, but isn't a very turistic area. I and my boyfriend were delightet. It was our last hotel on this trip, we spent 3 night, and I was sad that is finsh. Before this stay we were in 5* star hotel but both says that Friendship Hotel was much more Thai and friendly. And breakfast - are ala carte, you can chose western set or other more "heatly" option. Every set included hot drink and juice. I thing that it was a good quality food. The same a food during the day, every option was delicious. All staff was very polite and helpfully.
