Stayed at the Poem hotel.
Stayed at the Poem hotel. Excellent hotel very comfortable and very nice people. Mae Pim is very nice. Good beaches and clean. Across from the hotel many good restaurants as well as a sea food market with fresh daily sea food which can also be cooked on site. Also many seating areas along the bench. Several tourist attractions about worth checking out also.

Met up with friends for a birthday celebration. Nong Nuong restaurant, really delicious food, and reasonably priced, and by the beach opposite 7/11. Visited Ko Samed, Bhan pe market for foodstuff, must try the durian and jackfruit chips, similar to plantain chips, the friend fruit, the sellers allow you to taste before you buy. And pop over to the aquarium nearby. The monkey park with a beautiful golden temple. Must try the restaurant in the forest experience outskirts of Rayong.

I'm very disappointed for the room and the more for the staff. So I think the hotel should change the picture to the real one. PS. I attached the photo from booking.com and the photo from the actually rooms.

The facilities were also excellent with a beautiful clean pool, great sunbathing areas and a first class beach. There is also a very good cafe at the apartment block with lovely staff. Mae Pim is pretty quiet and a little rough around the edges but does have charm. There are plenty of great places to eat too.

Lovely staff, lovely room, great pool, fabulous breakfast and great evening meals. And walk straight out on to the beach. The have bought lots of reclaimed doors and furniture for the reception area and inner courtyard which added charm to the place. Complimentary mint tea served in the afternoon.
