Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the center of town, Booking.com will help you explore all that Bangkok has to offer.
I like to visit temples and there are many around Bangkok.
I like to visit temples and there are many around Bangkok. Some are spectacular. You need time to visit them. The food is great especially if you like spicy. It is easy to get around using their public transport. Or plenty of taxis, tuk-tuks or motorcycle taxis. The people are very friendly and when shopping for souvenirs you can barter.
There are some taxis/tuk-tuks who see a tourist and think they can make money by charging an inflated fare. Always take a metered can, they have a light on the windscreen so you know. And if you think a tuk-tuks fare is too high walk away and find one you think is a good price. Before visiting a temple google the dress code there.

I had the most thrilling experience on my first trip to Thailand - I chose to visit during the Thai New Year (Songkran), and it turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures of my life! The warmth and hospitality of the locals added to the charm of this already mesmerizing destination. I can't wait to go back and relive those exciting moments again!

Visited the Ratchadamri shopping district, Chatuchak weekend market, Chinatown (Yaowarat), Wat Arun, Silom and Thong Lo among other places. Food is cheap and available almost 24 hours a day, although the 10% service charge mandated by many restaurants and establishments in return for basic service felt exorbitant, a sentiment that is apparently shared by the locals as well. Public transport-wise, buses tend to be old and unwelcoming for inexperienced travelers, whereas the MRT and BTS services are clean and comfortable. Grab rides are near indispensable for medium-distance travel. Oftentimes it was a challenge to communicate with service crew, as many struggled with basic English, even at the airports and tourist hotspots. Overall, an eye-opening experience but will bring a Thai phrasebook next time.

The grand palace is a must to see, with wat pho.
The grand palace is a must to see, with wat pho. It’s really easy to get around Bangkok, you can get a taxi everywhere. Be careful with the tuk tuk, negotiate they are pretty expensive, the taxi meters are the cheapest ones. In the street you can get amazing pad Thai, and local food.

Bangkok is a very interesting destination but unfortunately...
Bangkok is a very interesting destination but unfortunately we were only there for one night, we would have liked to stay for at least another day.
We used a Tuk Tuk, We went on a traditional boat through the canals.
An experience!
I was here for an Open House for the new LDS Temple in Krungthep (Bangkok). We were also having a reunion for anyone who was ever a Missionary here in Thailand. This location was a city block away from the reunion site and a block and a half away from the new Temple. Easy access to the Airport Link train and the subway station that connects to the fantastic public transit system in Krungthep. I chose this place for that reason, but the serviced apartment we were in had more than any Hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Krungthep
I just searched quickly and found this hotel when i had to extend one more day to stay in Bangkok due to my passport issue, so i booked because the hotel is near to the embassy, and I was happy with my stay. The price is so affordable and the quality is very good. The bed/mattress is very comfortable to sleep. full hot water available, the room is clean, the breakfast is okay and everything else that u need to short stay. If you want to find the hotel near to US or Vietnam embassy, this one is definitely the best choice.
Second trip here. Started and ended my time in Thailand with stays here and will definitely return. This time I had the standard room (I had the deluxe room before) but, to be honest, the standard room here is like a deluxe room in most hotels I've stayed in. Clean, modern, stylish, good size, good wifi, and - most important of all - comfortable. Great hotel in a very convenient location close to Asoke station, Terminal 21, Soi Cowboy and a host of places to eat and drink. Will stay again next time I'm in Bangkok.
I have stayed here numerous times when in Bangkok. The hotel is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and the staff polite. it’s location makes it easy to get to and from the airport via BTS sky train and Airport rail-link. (Airport to hotel costs 71 baht and takes about 30-45 minutes) A lot of restaurants, shopping centres and tourist areas are either within walking distance or a short ride away via the BTS.
The hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok city. It's easy to go anywhere from this location.
The room is very spacious and the water heater was working well.
The room isn't noisy, despite the hotel being next to a big road.
It'll be nicer if we're given two pillows each instead of only one pillow per person.
Otherwise, perfect for us.
Price also very reasonable for such big room at this location.
Very comfortable bed
Clean
Location is good (particularly if you like all male massage parlours) but there's plenty of well located hotels in Bangkok. Proximity to Patpong Market is hardly an asset as this is one of the worst markets we visited in Thailand (obviously not the hotels fault). Sala Daeng BTS 5 mins walk and Silom metro 8 mins.
Cut fruit left in fridge after cleaning was a nice touch.
I chose this hotel only because it was pet friendly. We were pleasantly surprised!! Wonderful, helpful staff. Loved the ambience.. all the cool art and decor. I was moving to Thailand from the States and had 4 cats and a dog. They even have a cute little grassy area outside for your dog. But go there even if you don’t have a pet which I’m planning on for my next jaunt to Bangkok. Nice cafe too!
Le Tada is my favourite place to be in Bangkok and this is my third stay at this hotel. Spacious rooms, Excellent breakfast, homely feel and quiet surroundings with a very good park with lake just opposite to hotel. Besides, many different kinds of restaurants and cafes nearby. Metro connectivity at walking distance and Express way connection to Airport plus point.
This hotel is one of the best hotels in Bangkok. I stayed there in July 2022 during their soft opening. They provided free nights for my stay at no cost! New and spotless facilities, extremely spacious, helpful staff, and great location near exchange, 7-11, and major cinema complex. They even arranged for ride to the airport. I am staying with them again.
Hotel was located nearby the airport bus stop (5-7 mins away on foot) and it was easy to find it. Clean/spacious room with AC and no street noise issues. There are no MRT stations in the Khao San district. However, it was very easy to go to other touristic areas in Bangkok from Khao San by ferry and bus. Of course, staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was pretty easy to get to and from the airport to this hotel, which after a long flight was appreciated. The staff were brilliant, recommended a fantastic authentic Thai restaurant for dinner. The area is nice although feels quite affluent so some of the prices in the area are higher than what we experienced elsewhere in Bangkok.
The Location is a perfect at downtown the district of Bangkok (offices/ hotels / a big shopping center); perfect breakfast. Very friendly staff. We love free to ride the Tuk Tuk electric courtesy drop off to corner of the street. :) a good atmosphere at nighttime life. The top roof's 24th Bar was excellent.
Excellent pre-arrival communication and front office staff. Professional, helpful and very friendly! The beds are among the best in Bangkok( we’ve experienced most high end 5 star hotels). Crisp and extremely comfortable with high quality linens and pillows.
The place is near the Pratunam Market. It's on your doorstep when you go out the hotel. There's a near canteens, post office and lot of dress store and souvenirs in the area. The staff can speak english and is kind. I will be back soon.
If you spend extended time on your computer then you won't find a better hotel in Bangkok. Rooms have big nice desks and proper office chairs! I think it's worth it to spend a bit more and stay in the city view rooms.
Chose the location/hotel due to its proximity to the Bangkok Immigration Office
Very friendly staff supporting me with some special requests like personal print outs.
