“The perfect stay on the island. The tents are pretty large - almost as big as a small room and face the sea. They have a lot of air flow and the net keeps the bugs out. The mattresses are comfortable. Felt like in a bed to me. Better than some hostel beds. There are also plugs inside the tent. That plus the WiFi means you could almost work remotely for a week from there. The attached restaurant cooks good food at reasonable price. One of the best value on this (small) island. It felt very romantic to have a table dinner right on the beach. I 100% recommend, especially if you can get one of the tents with sea view.”

“In my opinion best and only backpacker place to stay on Koh Ngai. Tents are big, clean and comfortable (there is a fan in every one). Only few steps to the sea. Breakfast was very good. But the best is location. Camping is located almost at the end of beatifull Koh Ngai beach. Great place to escape from reality.”

A great change to be in the east side of the island and have shade in the arvo. The access to snorkeling. It iss more social than a hotel room. Safe for women travelling solo..”

“the location is incredible, our tent was 5m away from the water. The tent was great with a nice balcony and the owner helped us a lot when our boat didn’t show up. highly recommend this place. It’s basic but still very comfortable for a camping.”

“we loved the location (directly at/on the beach) and sleeping in the comfortable tent! (we normally never camp…) by opening an closing the tent you can regulate the ventilation. the food was excellent, one of the best at ko ngai and prizes low compared to the rest of the island. the bathroom situation was very basic. nearly no moskitos. nice snorkeling at 100 m from the beach. we (2 adults and a 4-year-old) can totally recommend Ko Ngai Camping!”
