where to begin; the property is close to several beaches. The bungalow is nice and clean with great views and a wonderful garden. So relaxing! The swimming pool is nice. The owners Philou and Fred are the best! The have lots of good tips for where to go, where to eat etc. The breakfast is yummy, everything is made from fresh products, such as the fruitjuice and jam. Philou makes the best cocktails on the rooftop-bar. Had a really great time! They made me feel right at home ❤️

Absolutely LOVELY little boutique B&B on Koh Chang. Quiet and serene location with the most amazing little pool and bungalows. Amazing French couple who owns this place and cooks the most delicious breakfast every day. We never pay for breakfast at hotels but we did every morning because of how delicious they make it here. We opted for sunset drinks at the bar with the owner who makes a mean mojito. He is so kind and this couple makes the entire stay on Koh Chang so amazing. They help with all tips/transport/laundry and anything else you need. The room is very nice and clean. Your typical SEA room but they do have sliding doors with a little private outdoor space for each one which is appreciated. Overall a 10/10 and a bright spot on Koh Chang, which we did not love but that is no fault to the owners of this sweet B&B. Thanks friends.

we have been travelling for 3 months, we spent two weeks here as we enjoyed it that much. rooms were great, worth the money, pool was beautiful and clean, staff were amazing and breakfast was all homemade, incredible. Pilou and Fred (owners) go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. we cannot thank them enough for the amazing time we spent at Lazy Republique. To get to the nearby towns/ bars must be willing to drive a moped. as only a couple of restaurants walking distance. Next door but one there is a beautiful Thai restaurant which is incredible. We even did a class of Yoga, with Ewa, who was a teacher staying at the property and Pilou joined in. Thankyou for the best two weeks, hopefully see you both again.

The room was great - spacious and comfy - but it was the hospitality that really stood out. The owners made us feel at home immediately, always remembered our breakfast preferences and we loved hanging out with them and getting to know their story over delicious cocktails at the bar. Well, the full description is in the title LAZY REPUBLIQUE. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the hosts Pilou & Fred (who by the way is a woman!) are utterly charming and you are treated like one of the family straight away. Their hospitality goes above and beyond what you would expect, from trying to help guests navigate the island to assisting with organising local walks and activities. The bungalows are very private and comfortable and the pool area offers a great environment to kick back and just relax. The main highlights of our stay were the delicious homemade breakfast made by Fred each morning and the lovely pastries as a treat. Also, the evenings spent socialising in the bar with the hosts and other guests made our holiday feel very special. Small, quiet bungalows at the edge of the jungle. The bungalows are simple and functional in Bauhaus style. You can get an excellent french breakfast with homemade marmalade. Lazy Republique is away from the loud and busy part of Koh Chang.
